“Car lovers love customising their cars”. Interview with Emerson Fittipaldi

Emerson Fittipaldi knows a thing or two about cars: former racing driver, he won the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race twice and was Formula 1® world champion in 1972 and 1974, winning 14 Grand Prix in total. 

After A.J. Foyt, Michael Schumacher and Rick Mears, he is the driver who won the most in the major open-wheel championships sharing the honour with Juan Manuel Fangio and Mario Andretti.

We met him to talk about this new adventure on four wheels at the presentation of Pirelli Connesso and of the Pirelli coloured tyre range at the Motor Show.

Emerson, your motorsport expertise is sure to add to the road driving experience of whoever chooses the EF7. What drove you to this partnership with Pininfarina?
“My love for racing and motorsports. Cars are my life: I will be with dealing with cars until the day I die”.

Pirelli launched a range of coloured tyres. What do you think about customising cars?
